Introduction

We usually communicate with people through phones, emails, chats, video/audio calls, etc. When we talk to someone on the phone, our voice travels from the speaker's end, in the form of sound waves through a medium of sound propagation (like air, water, radio waves, etc) to reach the recipient's end.

In this TACtivity, we will learn how to communicate with people, using a string as the medium of sound propagation, within a certain distance.

The hole should be large enough to insert the string through it. Apply glue to the four flaps protruding from the circle as shown in the picture.

  7. Insert the string through the hole, which was made earlier, as shown in the picture. Pass the string through the hole of the given bead. Now, tie 2 to 3 knots on the other side of the bead. This ensures that the string does not come out when the string is pulled.
